What makes this so innovative is that a regular booster seat lifts a child to be in the position of an adult. Mifold does the opposite. Instead of lifting the child up, it holds the seat belt down. Pretty simple and it is engineered to protect kids from the age of 4 all the way up to 12. The patented design takes the seat belt off the stomach and the neck, making it comfortable and safe! It is small enough to keep in a backpack for kids who need to carpool with other families. How cool is that? Love it!

Message from Mifold regarding its approval by US Regulators:
The Mifold booster car seat is designed to conform to the most universally accepted global booster car seat regulations: European Union ECE R44.4; FMVSS 213 in the United States, and the RSSR regulations in Canada.
Final products have already been crash tested multiple times in testing facilities around the world (MGA in the USA, Tass International in Holland and PMG in Canada), and have successfully complied with the performance requirements of all these regulations.
We are delighted to let you know that we have obtained regulatory approval in the US and expect to obtain approval in the EU and in Canada in the next few weeks.
To ensure good vehicle seat belt positioning, Mifold has been designed to conform to The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Booster Belt Fit Ratings.
If you live outside the US or EU, we will ship Mifold to you so that you can use it in any country that accepts the ECE R44 or FMVSS 213 regulatory approvals. We will start the regulatory approval process in other territories once we have obtained final approval in the EU and Canada. We will keep our website updated as new countries are added to the approved list.
