On October 24, 2015, the Chicago Cultural Mile Association plans to launch one of Chicago’s most exciting, new initiatives - The Halloween Gathering.  This event is an all day festival gathering Chicago’s vast and talented creative communities for a day of dramatic display of Halloween along Chicago’s cultural mile.  Check out the schedule for this super kid friendly family festival below.

Kid's Costume Procession at Maggie Daley

Dress the kiddos up and bring them to the skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park! Kids can join in on the parade around the skating ribbon and then enjoy free performances, hula hoop, poi spinning lessons and more!

The Halloween Gathering Parade

After the Zombie Thriller Dance, head over to watch an amazing spectacle of the Halloween Gathering Parade.  Chicago’s creative communities will assemble for a powerful procession capturing their creative spirits. Imagine a parade filled with large spectacle, legions of lanterns, costumes, performances, music, dance, dramatic lighting, moving platforms and more!

The parade, will travel north on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe.
