Mother’s Day Race for the Cure

What:  Kickstart Mother’s Day with a walk or run to fight breast cancer. We are fighting every minute of every day to finish what we started and achieve our vision of a world without breast cancer. The Chicagoland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen was established in 1997 and held the first Susan G. Komen Chicago Race for the Cure. With the support of our signature fundraiser, the Komen Chicago Race for the Cure, the Komen Chicagoland Affiliate has awarded over $10 million towards the fight against breast cancer by funding grassroots breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects, as well as national research.

The Race is a 5K route, which is approximately 3.1 miles. You may choose to walk or run the 5k route. If you are unable to walk or run, you can still register and join us on Race day. We are always looking for people to cheer on our runners and walkers.

Date/Time: The Race will be held on Sunday, May 14th, 2017. The Race start time will be at 9:00 A.M.

Cost: 40.00 for Adult, $35.00 for Breast Cancer Survivor, $25.00 for Youth, $40.00 for Virtual.  Race Day Registrations will go up to $50.00 for all onsite, day-of registrations, so register and fundraise ahead of time.
