Fall is around the corner, which means time to do all things Fall Fun like apple picking!  Lucky for us, there are many wonderful apple orchards near Chicago that allow you to pick your own apples straight from the tree!  Make this a wonderful family tradition that your kiddos are sure to enjoy!  Take home those freshly picked apples and make your favorite apple pie, apple cobbler or simply eat it fresh!  We have compiled a list of nearby apple orchards that allow you to pick your own.  Some offer no frills apple picking fun while others also offer a variety of kid activities.  So, depending on what you are looking for, there is something here for everyone.  Check their website for hours and ticket information before making the trek out to the orchards. All Seasons is an apple orchard, pumpkin patch and corn maze located in Woodstock, IL in McHenry County. With over 10,000 apple trees, there are many apples to choose from!  When you arrive at the orchard, you will head to the orchard by hayride, making it a fun experience for you and your kiddos.  All Seasons also offers Honeycrisp Apple Picking, making All Seasons one of the few orchards that offer Honeycrisp apple picking.

Other Attractions:  Over 10 acres of corn maze, petting zoo, giant jumping pillow, pedal kart track, mini zip line park, giant swings, tube slides and shooting gallery with apples and pumpkins.

The orchard boasts 70 acres containing 30,000 dwarf apple trees with the choice of over 30 varieties of apples in addition to pears, peaches, pumpkins and sugar snap peas. In addition to apple picking, you can stock up on delicious pantry items and crafts at the bakery and farm market.  And top it off with lunch at their farm kitchen.
