10 Earth Day Celebrations in Chicago and Suburbs - KidTrail Pick
Party for the Planet at Brookfield Zoo
Earth Day should be every day but unfortunately it comes around only once per year.  Regardless, all citizens should practice Earth Day beliefs throughout the year to better protect our planet.  But, it can all start on Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22. Events around the world are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It is now coordinated globally and celebrated in more than 193 countries. It is a great way to get the kiddos involved in giving back to the community and to the Earth that we all love on.  There are many activities as well as clean up programs in Chicago and suburbs so hope you find one here that works for you.
