With 2017 soon approaching, there are several ways to get the kiddos involved in the celebration! Who says New Year's Eve is just for adults? There are many New Year’s Eve bashes specifically for the kiddos. Most of these events are during the day allowing for an early countdown to 2017!  Whether you are looking for an event in the City or the Suburbs, there is something here for everyone. Little Beans Café New Year’s Bash

What: Come ring in the new year at our Pre New Years Eve Party. We’ll have a DJ spinning, a balloon drop, mocktails, pizza and fun! Price includes pizza for kids and their adults. And of course, open play in the play space!

Date/Time: Chicago Location is Dec 31, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Evanston location is Dec 30, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM

What:  Take the kiddos to a high energy New Year’s Eve party! Join us in ringing in the new year with our New Years Eve Event. Enjoy 2.5 hours of play in Arenas A and B, including: pizza, drinks, a sparkling beverage, countdown to balloon drop and party favor.

Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum – Noon NYE Party

What: Join us for a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration. Create your own eco-friendly party favors, play games, rock out at our dance party and ring in the “Noon Year” with an apple juice toast and a visit from this year’s “Nature Museum Party Animal.

What: Why should adults have all the fun on New Year’s Eve? Join Chicago Children’s Museum for its annual Noon Year’s Eve festivities! Make a crown starting at 10:30. The dance party will start at 11:30. The count-down and confetti drop will happen at high noon!

Chi-Town Rising: Family Countdown

What: In collaboration with the Chicago Cultural Mile Association, Chi-Town Rising invites families to ring in 2016 in Wrigley Square at Millennium Park on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 31! Beginning at 3 p.m., the event will culminate in the “Kids Countdown Spectacular” at 6 p.m. Admission to the Chi-Town Rising’s Family Countdown Celebration is free.

Drawing from the theme “Around the World for New Year’s Eve,” revelers in Wrigley Square at Millennium Park can visit activity stations that feature New Year’s customs from countries around the world.

Kid City 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Party

What: Kid City, Chicago’s indoor play space will be hosting their annual kiddo New Year’s bash. Join us for a New Years's Eve High Noon countdown! We are bringing out the bubble machine, noisemakers, and hot chocolate bar!  We will also be decorating New  Year's Eve hats to wear while ringing in 2017 with an apple cider toast.  Pizza will also be served. Space is limited, advance purchase is highly recommended.

Bubble Bash 2016: Under the Sea at DuPage Children’s Museum

What: Ahoy! Gather your guppies and look below the shore – there’s an entire world to explore! Fish kites, sand painting, turtle shell weaving, and more. Dive into an Under The Sea voyage by walking through our big red door. Bubble Bash is an important fundraiser for the Museum. It is THE place for families to ring in the New Year. This annual year-end celebration, now in its 15th year, has become a holiday tradition for families to celebrate together at DuPage Children’s Museum.
