With 2018 soon approaching, there are several ways to get the kiddos involved in the celebration! Who says New Year's Eve is just for adults? There are many New Year’s Eve bashes specifically for the kiddos. Most of these events are during the day allowing for an early countdown to 2018!  Whether you are looking for an event in the City or the Suburbs, there is something here for everyone. Little Beans Café New Year’s Bash

What: Come ring in the new year at our Pre New Years Eve Party. We’ll have a DJ spinning, a balloon drop, mocktails, pizza and fun! Price includes pizza for kids and up to 2 adults.

Date/Time: Chicago Location is December 30, 2017 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Evanston location is December 30, 2017 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

What:  Take the kiddos to a high energy New Year’s Eve party! Join us in ringing in the new year with our New Years Eve Event. Enjoy 2.5 hours of play in Arenas A and B, including: pizza, drinks, a sparkling beverage, countdown to balloon drop and party favor.

What: Join us for a New Year's Eve High Noon Countdown!  We are bringing out the bubble machine, noisemakers and hot chocolate bar!  We will also be making New Year's Eve crafts before ringing in 2018 with an apple cider toast.  Pizza will also be served.
Space is limited, advance purchase is recommended.

Itty Bitty New Year at Skokie Exploratorium

What: The Oakton Community Center and the Exploritorium are transformed into a miniature Times Square, complete with a DJ and a “countdown to noon” balloon drop. The perfect way to celebrate the New Year with the kids, the Skokie Park District’s “Itty Bitty New Year” kicks off at 10 a.m. and ends at noon at 4701 Oakton St. Pre-registration is required. What: Rock in the Zoo Year 2018 with your friends at Brookfield Zoo!

Bubble Bash 2016: Under the Sea at DuPage Children’s Museum

What: Ring in the New Year with a WILD family adventure! Don a pith hat and make a vest to decorate with stickers as you travel through each station, weave a beautiful collaborative canopy, contribute to the firefly fluorescent sky, build a fort, construct a raft to float down the stream, move to the beat of African drums, let out a roar to the countdown to Noon confetti celebration, and more. There will be a quiet countdown and quiet jungle room for our more sensitive visitors to enjoy.

Bubble Bash is THE place for families to be on New Year’s Eve. This annual year-end celebration is an important fundraiser for the Museum and, now in its 16th year, has become a holiday tradition for families to celebrate together.
