Britax recently announced a recall of certain models of their ClickTight car seats manufactured between August 1, 2014 to July 29, 2015. Specifically, the recalls are for the Advocate ClickTight, Boulevard ClickTight and Marathon ClickTight car seat models. The defect arises with the harness adjuster button. The harness adjuster button may remain down in the release position after the harness is tightened, which would pose a safety hazard. A loose harness will not adequately protect a child in the event of a motor vehicle crash.
