Meet a Scientist Event at The Field Museum
It is officially Spring in Chicago and the weather is starting to pick up! There is plenty of fun Chicago kids activities this weekend and some free too! Try a family Yoga class (drop in session) at Bloom Yoga or Tula Yoga. Or head to the Museum of Science & Industry for a super cool omnimax show on Humpback Whales or the National Parks.  Some free events include the much loved Neighborhoods of the World Festival at Navy Pier or free story time at Barnes & Noble. Lots to do, enjoy!

What: With engaging music and dance in a kid-friendly setting, the FREE admission Juicebox programs are geared toward the stroller set and enjoyable for the whole family. Children will experience a diverse range of artistic and educational presentations, with hosts regularly inviting youngsters to move, dance and interact with performers. Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Juicebox series runs on alternating Fridays at the Chicago Cultural Center.

What: On Fridays from 10am to noon, scientists will be out in the Museum sharing the wonders of our collections and highlights of their research. Hear about their work, see real artifacts and specimens from the approximately 30 million objects in The Field Museum's collections, and experience the Museum like never before. Topics will range from birds to insects, from mammals to plants, from pottery to spear points, and more!

What: This super family friendly restaurant serving American comfort food offers kids eat free daily from 4 – 6pm. So, bring in your kiddos and enjoy an evening of good food. No worries here as the whole place seems like it was designed with families in mind. There is a section to park your strollers as well as stools in the bathrooms for the little ones. Top it off with some delicious do it yourself ice cream sundae!
